Discuss:
Why do you think John was allowed into the courtyard and Peter was not?
What do you think caused Peter to deny Jesus?
Where do you think John was during this ordeal?

1. What are ways that people deny Jesus everyday?
2. Do you sympathies with Peter or condemn him for denying Jesus? Explain.
3. Read Mark 14:71-72. Have you ever had an experience like this? Tell your story.
4. Peter was restored by Jesus. Why do you think so many people feel like God could never forgive them? Have you ever felt that way?
Prayer
Lord may we never stop loving you but when we sin help us remember we have an advocate in Christ Jesus who is the only Righteous One.
